Today we checked with Rates with NVR, and we were able to lock in a 15 year fixed for 3.375%.
Very Very Happy with this.
Also, Guardian called us today, they are planning on doing our install tomorrow, which means pre-drywall should be sometime in the next week or two.
It seems like it took forever to get to this point, but now its flying by. We should have a closing date right after the pre-drywall meeting is completed. Im thinking around mid January still.

ReplyDeleteGreat deal on the 15. We went for the 30 year mortgage but plan to refi to a 15 in a few years. I have been that route before and it's so nice to see the principle actually decrease!
ReplyDeleteWe actually checked yesterday and it was 3.5% so we really lucked out today when it lowered. It kills me to pay interest...My parents bought a few acres when they first got married and financed it for 19% do you believe it? I would have just died.
